The document describes environmental impact of the project as well as mitigation measures including environmental and monitoring mitigation plans. The World Bank is considering a possibility of financing for rehabilitation of Osh-Batken-Isfana-Khudjant sections (Isfana-Kairagach, Batken-Kyzyl-Bel, Batken-Tortgul) under the Central Asia Road Links Project - Kyrgyz Republic. The Ministry of Transport and Communication of the Kyrgyz Republic is planning to start the rehabilitation works on 2014-2015 and in perspective to link the Osh-Batken-Isfana-Khudjant Road with the Tup-Kegen Road which provides the access to Kazakhstan.
