Consulting services for Construction SupervisionThe Government of the Kyrgyz Republic has applied for a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan under CAREC Corridor 1 and 3 Connector Road Project, Phase 2 - Additional Financing for the consulting services for Construction Supervision of rehabilitation a crucial connector road which connect two major CAREC regional corridors, part of the North-South Alternate Corridor Rehabilitation road, incorporating specific features for road safety and climate change adaptation. The Consultant, to be designated as the ‘Engineer' for the civil works Contract(s) as defined in the FIDIC General Conditions of Contract ("the Pink Book", 2010), will assist the Ministry of Transport and Roads (MOTR) of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Executing Agency (EA) for the Project and the Employer for the civil works Contracts, in reviewing and approving the Contractor's working drawings, supervising the civil rehabilitation works and monitoring the maintenance services for the road section(s). Also ensuring compliance with road safety standards, environmental protection measures, and social safeguards. The Terms of Reference are posted on the websites of the IPIG MoTR KR, the Official Public Procurement Portal www.zakupki.gov.kg and the ADB Consultant Management System www.cms.adb.org . MoTR now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services through ADB Consultant Management System at: https://selfservice.adb.org/OA_HTML/adb/adbpos/jsp/ADBCMSHomepage.jsp Consultants may associate with other firms in the form of a joint venture or a subconsultancy to enhance their qualifications. Consultants will be selected based on Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method in accordance with the ADB Procurement Policy and Procurement Regulations for ADB Borrowers (2017). Expression of Interest must be delivered throw ADB Consultant Management System not later than 24 January 2019.
