Invitation to participate in the bid (contract No. IRRIP/OCB/CW/01), Reconstruction works of 75.2 km to 4-lanes of the Barskoon-Karakol Road Section of the Issyk Kul Ring Road. ("the Work").

1. The Kyrgyz Republic has requested the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to finance the Issyk-Kul Ring Road Improvement Project (Barskoon-Karakol Section). Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

2. The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MoTC) of Kyrgyz Republic (‘the Employer") invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of the Reconstruction works of 75.2 km to 4-lanes of the Barskoon-Karakol Road Section of the Issyk Kul Ring Road. ("the Work").

3. Open Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB's "Single-Stage: Two-Envelope" Bidding Procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.

4. Only eligible bidders with key qualifications as defined in the bidding documents are eligible to participate. More information on the website: www.motcpiu.kg

5. To purchase the bidding documents in English, eligible Bidders shall write to address above requesting the Bidding Documents for ""IRRIP/OCB/CW/01, Reconstruction of 75.2 km to 4 lanes of the Barskoon-Karakol road section of the Issyk Kul Ring Road" and pay a nonrefundable fee of $ 500 USD(five hundred United States Dollars) by bank transfer to the specified state bank account in the name of the recipient "CAREC Corridors 1 and 3 Connector Road Project»
